Associated Students, Inc. serves as the voice of student interests and promotes an enriched co-curricular university life experience. We are dedicated to fostering the development of San Francisco State's diverse student body through a commitment to shared governance. We provide and support student services and programs, maintain responsible and transparent use of funding, while encouraging external advocacy efforts.

Cesar Chavez Student Center
The Cesar Chavez Student Center is a non-profit auxiliary organization of San Francisco State University. SF State is an internationally known urban institution of higher learning located in an ethnically and culturally diverse city, whose student body reflects its environment.
The Student Center serves as a focal point of student activity. The Center first opened its doors in September 1975. Since its inception the Center has continued to evolve, lead by active student leadership in meeting the ever-growing needs of a large and diverse student population and the SF State campus community. The Student Center serves the student population by providing a myriad of services (e.g. restaurants, meeting rooms, conference hall, ATMs, transit passes) and programs (e.g. art exhibits, live bands, community based events) that are student driven and student focused.
UPD (University Police Department)
The San Francisco State University Police Department is a diversified organization that provides professional law enforcement, parking, transportation and traffic coordination. The San Francisco State University Police Department is a pro-active, service-oriented agency trained to respond to the needs of the community. The Department is staffed and equipped to deliver professional, personalized protection, with pride, sensitivity, and integrity.
Office of Student Conduct
The Office of Student Conduct (OSC) at San Francisco State supports the University’s educational purpose and goals set forth by interpreting and enforcing standards of student behavior, related policies and procedures under the State of California Code of Regulations, Title V, sections 41301-41304 through Executive Order 1073, Student Conduct Procedures. Cases involving alleged violations of University policies or campus rules by students should be referred to this office, which is responsible for ensuring the fair, confidential administration of the Student Conduct Procedures. The OSC strives to facilitate student learning, ethical growth and development in connection with the disciplinary process, promotes academic integrity and responsible conduct through outreach, conduct outcomes, and education; and works to maintain a safe and orderly campus environment.
One Stop Student Service Center
The One Stop Student Services Center is a single location where students can take care of a range of school-related business, all under one roof. Some of the services include advising, bursar/cashier, career center, College of Extended Learning, Financial Aid, one card, registrar, and undergraduate admissions.
DPRC (Disability Programs and Resource Center)
Students with mobility, hearing, visual, communication, psychological, systemic (HIV/AIDS, environmental illness, etc.), and learning disabilities are encouraged to attend SFSU. The Disability Programs and Resource Center (DPRC) is available to promote and provide equal access to the classroom and to campus-related activities. Students are provided assistance in coordinating a full range of support services in order that they may define and achieve personal autonomy at SFSU. The DPRC also provides eligible students with help understanding and managing DPRC services, campus-wide access, attitudinal barriers, other campus resources, and disability civil rights.
OIP (Office of International Programs)
The Office of International Programs provides campus-wide leadership and coordination in implementing the university's goals for international education and exchange. It works closely with faculty, staff, students, scholars, the local community, and international alumni in supporting initiatives to internationalize the campus.
Student Health Services (SHS)
The Student Health Services (SHS) is available to all students for health related and urgent mental health issues. The SHS provides comprehensive preventative health, primary care services and pharmacy services as well as psychiatric services and Optometry.
Student Involvement and Career Center (SICC)
The Student Involvement and Career Center (SICC) is an integral campus resource for career services, leadership development opportunities, major programs, and events.
We support SF State students, faculty, and staff by providing leadership opportunities, student organization resources, and event coordination and consultation. We assist in the search process for part-time jobs, internships/co-op programs, and full-time professional employment, and collaborate with employers, faculty, staff, alumni, and student organizations to evaluate, develop and implement self-directed career, education, and employment decisions and plans.
The Student Involvement and Career Center facilitates transformative learning and student engagement by developing strong leaders, employees, and conscientious citizens within SF State's diverse community and beyond.
