Student Learning Outcomes 2012-2013

Student Learning Outcome #1

Students will become more aware of their own biases and prejudices as it relates to issues of multiculturalism and diversity within the SF State community.

Student Learning Outcome #2

Students within a Living Learning Community will develop a sense of connection and responsibility to their immediate residential community resulting in a safe, secure, and comfortable living and learning environment.

Student Learning Outcome #3

Eighty percent of student staff will be able to identify mental health concerns and apply skills and tools learned through a variety of mental health training sessions (i.e. Mental Health First Aid, Residential Life Counselor training, etc.) and adapt it to the work they do within Residential Life.

Student Learning Outcome #4

Through a variety of means (i.e., hall government, C-Board, RA programming), residents will actively contribute to the definition and development of who they are as a community and will become aware of outlets for involvement.
