Requirements for project to succeed: |
- The advising application must be accessible by all students – the only
requirement should be access to a computer with a web browser. No frames,
no java, no plug-ins, text alternatives to all small graphics.
- The advising application should be designed to be easy to use by students
and advisors.
- All academic departments need to adopt the system.
- Key courses need to be accurately designated as for Fall, Spring, Summer
or Winter semesters. (Could check to see if any students are planning to
take a course before deciding to not offer. Could contact students planning
to take a course and propose alternatives.)
- Review/update each semester to reflect approved changes in requirements.
