SF State Studies: Global Perspectives [GP]
Courses approved for the Global Perspectives SF State Studies requirement must examine topics that are global in scope (i.e., that involve different parts of the world), and must compare and contrast human experiences and perspectives, whether in the present or the past.
Courses certified as meeting the SF State Studies requirements may be upper or lower division, may be in General Education (GE), a major or minor, or may be an elective. Not all of the courses listed below are approved for General Education. Please refer to the General Education area of the Bulletin to verify if a course is GE and what area it satisfies.
Students who study abroad can petition through the Undergraduate Advising Center, upon their return, to have the SF State Studies requirement in Global Perspectives met.
