Technology at your fingertips

We’re streamlining the details of student life: you can register for classes or check your financial aid status entirely by phone; get fast campus information and transcripts from interactive, electronic kiosks; or plan your class schedule with help on the Web. Each SFSU student receives a personal e-mail and Internet account, and with more than a dozen computing labs on campus, including some open 24 hours a day, hundreds of computers are available for your use, free of charge.

Enriching on-campus living opportunities

Presidential Scholars who choose to live on campus have the added advantage of learning where they live—outside, as well as inside, the classroom. On-campus Scholars enjoy many benefits, including a 24-hour Resident Computer Lab, study and support groups, and the opportunity to form life-long friendships by living, studying and sharing experiences together in a supportive environment.

A dynamic, cosmopolitan city

San Francisco is a global center of business, technology, and culture. As a laboratory for meaningful work-study and community involvement, for personal growth and recreation, San Francisco and the greater Bay Area help make SFSU an ideal place to live and to learn. Presidential Scholars are introduced to the City’s culture and history by professors and artists who know it well.
